DESCRIPTION

Trekking through the streets of Castel del Monte, a path of extraordinary beauty where you’ll fond Masserie (farms), jazzi, casedde (little houses), pagliari and ancient fish ponds along tracks, paths and mule tracks between holm and bay-oaks. An exciting day for the 360 -degree view of Frederick’s manor, the “stone crown” that stands out clearly on the horizon, at every step more and more imposing. Upon arrival we will visit the castle: Castel Del Monte is a unique masterpiece of medieval architecture, which reflects the humanism of its founder: Frederick II of Swabia.

Following, visit to a neighboring winery, with tasting of n. 03 wine labels. The winery represents a reference point for lovers of wine and the beautiful Murgia landscape. The tour of flavors begins with our oenologist who will make us visit the Cellar, where the various stages of winemaking will be illustrated starting from the harvest of the grapes from the vineyards to the storage of the wine in the barrels. We continue our journey in the tasting room where we will taste the wines accompanied by the delicacies of our land at km 0, homemade taralli, local cured meats such as the capocollo of Martina Franca, cheeses and focaccia.
